Growing Together

In Legacy... in thriving... in faith... in gratitude... in purpose. We are called to continue growing both personally and as a church in these areas. Growing Together is the theme of Wesley UMC's 2024 Annual Stewardship Campaign. Stewardship continues to grow the church in these areas. You can find more about this campaign, Wesley UMC's Mission, goals for 2025, and progress towards these goals below.

In legacy

How do we continue Wesley UMC's legacy of serving neighbors, loving one another, and honoring God? Memories can help us reflect Wesley's mission through our own lives while created a foundation and a confidence for future generations. Leaving a part of ourselves through our tithes and gifts solidifies a hopeful future for those who come after us.

In thriving

Inspired by Matthew 19:16-24 we are encouraged to pass on our blessings to a community and kingdom much bigger than us. Giving is not just fundamental to growing as disciples of Jesus Christ, but giving goes and backs around to us in multitudes.

In Faith

The signs of growth at Wesley are evident in children's laughter in hallways, youth exploration of faith, young adults seeking community, middle aged parents finding their place to lead, seniors renewing their resolve through social and education opportunities.

In gratitude

Success is not defined by the size of our portfolios, the titles we carry, the jobs we once held, the positions we earned, or the awards we may have achieved. In the Christian faith, the evidence of our success is in the gratitude with which we live.

in purpose

We are called by God to a purpose of loving and serving, hoping and giving. The Bible story begins that we are not alone in this world and the Bible ends reminding us that we are a part of a community that spans time and space. In all the ways the Bible reminds us that we to be in one another's lives, therein we find our purpose. We are called to be a community that is bigger than ourselves.

Giving Opportunities

The General Fund keeps WUMC running smoothly. It pays for heat, air-conditioning, electricity, water, telephone, lawn care, snow removal, garbage service – all the things you pay for in your household budget magnified by the size of our facilities. More than buildings, the General Fund is about people. It supports our staff and invests in the lives of those seeking connection in many ways. Your General Fund pledge will also support our community in-reach and outreach.

Please prayerfully consider how much you can contribute. To the left is a chart that breaks down various giving levels. If you would like to contribute to the 2024 Stewardship Campaign, please click on the "Give" tab at the top of this page.
