Wesley UMC's in-person campus is located in Charleston, IL, right on the edge of Eastern Illinois University's campus. We are a church serving Charleston, Mattoon, Westfield, Ashmore, and surrounding communities.
Joining online?
Joining Wesley UMC online? Join from anywhere. Your living room, your car, your grandma's house. No matter where you are, you can participate at Wesley UMC.

We are so glad you and your family have landed here. Wesley UMC offers programs for infants through high school.
If you attend in person, our friendly greeters and ushers can show you where the nursery is for infants through 5 years of age. If your children are a bit older (kindergarten through 6th grade), Children's Church is an opportunity that Wesley has. Ms. Sarah Gatton, Director of Children's and Adult Discipleship, can't wait to greet you and your family!
If you attend online, you'll find that Wesley UMC's services are family-friendly. Every service includes a Children's Moment where the sermon of the day is brought to a level that is easier to understand for our younger age groups.
