Wesley Kids
Volunteers in Kids Ministry serve families and children of our Pre-K to 6th graders during weekend worship services through children's church and Sunday School. They lead classrooms, provide assistance to classroom teachers and step in where an extra hand is needed.
We're always looking for great individuals to love and serve our kids, and help show the love of Christ to them. If you're someone who would like to serve, or just know a little bit more about Kids Ministry, connect with us!
Youth Ministries
Sunday Gatherings: Those serving in our Youth Ministry on Sundays get the opportunity to build and foster relationships with our youth members. Opportunities to serve during Sunday School and Youth Group are available.
Annual Mission Trip: Wesley's Youth annually adventure to Appalachia to participate in Appalachia Service Project. This annual mission trip takes place in June/July each year. If you are interested in getting your Youth involved (must be 8th grade - 12th grade) or yourself being an Adult Leader, email the church office at charlestonwesleyumc@gmail.com.
Wesley Gatherings &
General Volunteers
Sunday Gatherings: Our Sunday morning gatherings are the beginning for most people at Wesley. We need people who can serve as greeters, liturgists, and ushers, as well as members of the worship and hospitality teams.
Ministry Specific Volunteers: A variety of ministries happen at Wesley UMC that impact those within the church, the Charleston Area Community, and Regional and National areas too.
General Volunteers: Wesley UMC always welcomes your talents, gifts, and fellowship! Wesley is actively looking to build a list of people who want to get involved, but are open to serving in areas that are needed. If you would like to be added to our list of general volunteers, please reach out the church office.

Generosity
Donating your time is not the only way to serve at Wesley UMC. There are recurring costs to operating and staffing our ministry, as well as helping us do work throughout our community and the world. We believe that God calls us to give, and to give generously. We give you a chance to worship in this way at our "give" tab.
