This Sunday: You Are What You Eat
Since feeding five thousand people with five loaves of bread and a couple of fish, Jesus has been speaking of himself as the bread of life for three Sundays now. This Sunday we'll unpack that a little further as we concentrate on John 6:51-58, where Jesus says repeatedly, "eat my flesh and drink my blood." It's a hard saying to take and to understand, certainly unpleasant if taken literally yet bereft of power if taken only as symbolism. Somewhere in his words, we find life, and we're all looking for life. Come, listen, and worship!
WORSHIP TIMES are 8:30 AM and 10:45 AM
