Use Your Freedom Well
Galatians 5:1, 13-25, Luke 9:51-62
The word freedom usually elicits more than a flat response. Most everyone is looking for some kind of freedom. What kind of freedom are you looking for? The problem with freedom is it often appears as license to do whatever we want. Not only that, most of us long to have the freedom to do what we want to do or what we think is right, but it's much harder to promote freedom for people to do what we don't want them to do or what we think is wrong. Where spiritual freedom is concerned, Paul wrote to the Galatian Christians, "For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for self-indulgence, but through love become slaves to one another." This Sunday we will listen both to Paul and to Jesus as we consider how to use our freedom well. Come and exercise your freedom to worship!
WORSHIP TIMES are 8:30 AM and 10:45 AM
